Monthly OALRC Meetings | Ohio Assoc. of Local Reentry Coalition Leaders & Partners

3rd Monday @ 11AM on Zoom | Monday, February 28th @ 11AM

Local Ohio reentry coalition members, reentry advocates/practitioners and community members are invited to monthly OALRC's meetings to share in the creation, advancement, and communication among Ohio's reentry efforts.This month's main discussion topic is grant funding experiences/challenges for coalitions. In addition, these meetings always have ODRC Office of Reentry staff present. There will also be a legislative update.These monthly meetings are a time for connecting and collaborating. Each month attendees work together to address reentry needs and/or trainings that may be helpful in the work they are doing day in and day out.

FREE Crime Victims' Rights in Ohio Post Mary's Law Training

WHAT

OCVJC Victims’ Rights Training is a FREE four- hour comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training that informs trainees about the legal rights of victims and the ethical obligations of those assisting them. The training includes a focus on access to justice for crime victims. Many of these rights have changed with the passage of 2017’s Issue 1, Marsy’s Law. This training will update criminal justice system officials and related professionals on these changes to victims’ constitutional and statutory rights.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This is a cross disciplinary training. Law enforcement, courts, prosecutors, advocates, medical personnel, social workers, counselors, and others who serve crime victims.3.5 CLE credits (2.5 professional conduct and 1 general) and 3.75 CEU/CPE credits available
