Educating the community on reentry issues is fundamental to reducing stigma.
Love Your Neighbor Ohio is an ongoing initiative of ARCH meant to educate the public about the extremely common realities of incarceration in Ohio, and in particular the unique challenges women face after being incarcerated. A percentage of this project will be given to the artists for their work. The remaining amount will be used to support women coming home from incarceration with their housing, transportation, clothing, and food needs.
ARCH provides presentations to local faith communities and businesses and shares the stories of formerly incarcerated people on "The Brown Couch with Vanita Nevis." If you'd like to request a speaker or presentation, please visit our Contact page.
