Announcing Reentry Week 2021!

Amber --

Announcing Reentry Week 2021! Central Ohio organizations, individuals, and agencies have come together to make Central Ohio’s Reentry Week 2021 (April 26th - 30th) as impactful and meaningful as possible. The event will host over a dozen events over the week spanning a range of topics:

Entrepreneurship, Work, & and Housing (Monday, April 26th)
Finding Our Way (Tuesday, April 27th)
Juvenile Justice (Wednesday, April 28th)
Faith, Family, and Relationships (Thursday, April 29th)
Policy & Practice (Friday, April 30th)

Each day will also include community “pop-ups,” helping people access IDs, driver’s license relief, and other critical needs post–release.

The week will also include various events and panel discussions with Franklin County Commissioners, Columbus City Council members, individual and agency service providers, local pastors, and, most importantly, fellow neighbors of our recovery and justice-involved communities.  One special guest will be reentry scholar Dr. Reuben Miller, Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration and author of Halfway Home: Race, Punishment, and the Afterlife of Mass Incarceration Tuesday, April 29th, at 6:30 pm. The majority of the events will be open to the public and can be viewed online.

The full schedule is available online at: www.centralohioreentryweek.com

We hope that you join us in this celebration as we support our friends, family, and community members who have been incarcerated!
